Kemi Badenoch visited Bexley today ahead of the local elections on Thursday, 7 May 2026. Louie French MP and Bexley Council leader Cllr David Leaf welcomed her to the borough. She met several local businesses in Bexley Village, including Greys Tea & Coffee House, Chex, The King’s Head and The Pamper Suite, to discuss the Conservatives’ fully-costed plan to scrap business rates for thousands of pubs and shops.
