Louie on a train

Louie French MP has today welcomed the news from Southeastern that peak time loop line services on the Sidcup line to Abbey Wood will return in December.

This news follows a successful local campaign led by Louie, which urged Southeastern to add more services to the new timetables so that passengers from Sidcup, Albany Park and Bexley would have better connections to Abbey Wood and the Elizabeth Line.

Southeastern have confirmed that 12 additional services will be added at both morning and evening peak times from December.

Commenting on this news Louie said:

"I really welcome this excellent news from Southeastern and I would like to thank them for listening to our concerns.

This news follows a strong local campaign to secure more train services for passengers, which has seen additional services secured on both the Bexleyheath and Sidcup lines, including the restoring of four service per hour at Albany Park.

I would like to thank everyone locally who has supported our campaign".
