Just before the election was called, I was delighted to be informed that Bexley Grammar’s bid for school building improvement funding had been approved by the Department for Education.
Alongside multiple previous bids that are already helping to improve other Bexley schools and to build more spaces, this was a bid that I was pleased to support.
I was also pleased to accept the invitation from teachers at Bexley Grammar to attend their Sports Day recently and to see how this multi-million funding boost will help improve the educational setting for local students and teachers.
