The inaugural Old Bexley Business Breakfast was held on 18 November 2025, ahead of the Autumn Budget, with special guest Mark Garnier MP, the Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury. He discussed the challenges facing the country and Conservative announcements to abolish stamp duty on family homes and to end business rates for retail, hospitality, and leisure.
