Our local economy and businesses

Our local businesses are the heartbeat of Bexley’s economy. As a local councillor, I’ve always been proud to support them. I was fortunate to take a leading role in delivering the new cinema for Sidcup and getting pandemic support to the businesses that needed it most – especially our local pubs and sports & social clubs which mean so much to local residents.

As MP, I’ll campaign for fair taxes and business rates. And I’ll host regular jobs fairs – connecting those in need of work with the right opportunities.
